These materials are ideal for applications involving water circulation, such as water heaters (valves, coupling joints, etc.), sanitary areas (faucets, etc.), and residential plumbing joints. Furthermore, water approval/certifications have been acquired in various countries.

Features

１．A604WR (GF40% reinforced)

  • With high strength, high rigidity and creep resistance, this material is ideal for use in sanitary applications (e.g. faucets, showerheads, shower/toilet valves, etc.), water meters and more. This material has also been successfully used for metal replacement.
  • Acquired water approval/certification in the US and in various European countries. Having this said, this material can be safely used for water applications in a wide range of regions around the world.
  • Acquired ISO9080 LTHS test data. This simplifies pipe/coupling-joints’ product designing processes, thereby contributing to shorter development periods.

２．A673MT/A673MWR (GF30% reinforced, Elastomer-modified)

  • With excellent impact resistance and toughness to withstand high water pressure, this material has been used in a wide variety of applications, such as valves/coupling-joints in water heaters, electric heat pumps, gas-powered hot water heaters, and more.
  • Acquired water approval/certification in the US, in various European countries, as well as in Australia. Having this said, this material can be safely used for water applications in a wide range of regions around the world.

※Note: A673MT is only certified in the US (NSF) and UK (WRAS).

３．A670R63 (Non-reinforced, Elastomer-modified)

  • Amongst various injection molding materials, this material has shown excellence in high toughness and crack resistance. It has also performed excellence in chemical resistance to adhesives, thereby allowing it to successfully be used as a replacement for amorphous resins for residential plumbing joints, etc.
  • Acquired water approval/certification in the US and in various European countries. Having this said, this material can be safely used for water applications in a wide range of regions around the world.
  • Acquired ISO9080 LTHS test data. This simplifies pipe/coupling-joints’ product designing processes, thereby contributing to shorter development periods.
